Our Mission

ATA is a Sotho word meaning to “GROW” and that is our promise!


 We believe that there is a ‘Gap’ that exists between the work experience required by graduates or unemployed youth for employability. And the small business owners in our country have a real need for additional hands in order to run and grow their businesses.

Small businesses as the backbone of our country’s economy, sometimes do not have the required resources to hire full-time employees, therefore impacting business growth.
Whilst many young people, though they possess formal qualifications, lack a very critical skills that would make them assets to any small business.

We therefore act as a bridge to close this gap! Our mission therefore is to grow people and to grow businesses.

With Unemployed Graduates

We believe that as much as unemployed graduates require work, they lack the critical skills to succeed in the work environment! Many call these soft skills but we believe these are core skills. With our Work Readiness programme we prepare unemployed graduates to become excellent workers. The programme does not focus only on training as a method to transfer knowledge but also includes a support structure that will facilitate a mindset shift for the learner that will make them more adaptable to the work environment.

With SMMEs

The amount of tasks small businesses deal with to run their company, some of which are preventing them from doing the most important one. We believe with the correct systems, adding an unemployed graduate in their company will assist in taking care of this dilemma. We place interns with them for a limited period and help see their business grow! Unemployed graduates brings hard skills to the table and small businesses offer them the relevant opportunity to gain work experience. It is a win-win.

Meet the Founder


Hey, I am Adv Miliswa Mokoteli.

Here’s a quick story about why ATA.

In university, during my final year I was the chairperson of the Free State’s Christian Lawyers Association. One of our programs was to place 4th year LLB students in law firms. This was exciting for me as I knew that this opportunity would make a huge difference to our members. A little into the program I was receiving feedback from the law firms about how our members were assimilating into the workplace. I had to find a solution to this problem and it became clear to me that what would bring value to our members was to receive a training in soft skills. Even though we didn’t actually provide this to them but I knew this was crucial. That’s how ATA was born!

I am a transformist at heart (don’t think there’s a word like that) and I love the work we do here at the Academy!
Seeing lives transformed & businesses assisted brings me so much joy.

I am looking forward to growing more people and growing more businesses in the future.

ATA has designed a Work Readiness Programme that encompasses an intense Coaching and Mentoring blend.

We offer 3-5 days Bootcamp with a 3-6 months of intense Coaching.
 Our competitive edge is that we don’t believe that a few days of a soft skills training is enough to transfer the necessary information
and bring about the required change needed.

We offer a REINVENTION opportunity with our coaching that will assist the graduate to reimagine their qualification!
 ATA assists the learner to broaden their horizons regarding the application of their qualifications
